First Listen: Robert Fowler just wants to “Talk”

(August 27, 2026) Dancer, actor on stage and screen, singer and songwriter, Robert H. Fowler has pretty much done it all. However, it’s Fowler’s voice that brings him to our attention. Fowler’s work as a singer and his background in musical theater are connected.

Fowler brings powerful vocals, crisp phrasing and a theatrical quality to his singing that grows out of his musical theater background where he performed in musicals such as Dreamgirls. Fowler also is a member of Broadway Inspirational Voices, a musical performance group consisting of Broadway performers committed to using their voices to inspire, uplift, educate, and raise awareness.

Fowler brings it whenever he sings. The passion, transparency, and talent of his gift as a singer on his new ballad “Talk.” The cut is a heartfelt plea from a man to his lover to open the lines of communication. The request is simple to express, but often oh so hard to execute. The first step is for one party to let the other know that silence is not the answer. Fowler does so sweetly and eloquently on this song. Check it out here.
