(November 3, 2021) Back in 2007, we held our first live SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Awards, and one of the highlights was the performance by the incredible Rahsaan Patterson, a star who had won over millions of fans, but also the reverence of his peers. Rahsaan not only captured an award for his Wine and Spirits album, he completely won over the audience present that night.
A couple years ago, Rahsaan broke an eight year recording absence with Heroes & Gods, an incredible album that not only was a big hit, it won Rahsaan yet another SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Award. Now, that album is getting an entirely new vibe, courtesy of acclaimed house music producer, Quentin Harris (Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton). The result is Heroes & Gods 2.0, a reimagining of the popular album with incredibly creative remixes by Harris that we’re digging.
