The story that this buttery-voiced tenor tells on this ballad is that of a man with a love so deep that transcends worries about the price of gas or any other affordability concern.
Prince LDJ is going to drop a bag on his girl. Now, I looked it up because I’m old. A man who spends a bag is about to drop at least $1,000 and probably more. So yeah, Prince LDJ will spend quite a bit of money, and he lets his girl know this is her day and he’s willing to go wherever it takes her – the movies, a restaurant, the mall.
