First Listen: Paco debuts with the hot “Cold Love”

(June 5, 2020) We found out about singer, songwriter and producer Joshua (Paco) Lee via his connection with longtime SoulTracks fave, Brian Owens. The two Missouri natives have formed a new record label together, and Paco’s debut single, “Cold Love,” is the first single from the imprint.

Paco’s influences run a stylistic range, from Kanye to Stevie, and especially to Prince. Working with producers Courtney Orlando and Sonca Nguyen, he is working on a debut EP that will bring to the world his musical vision.

“Cold Love” is quite an intro. A song that boasts shades of electronic, rock, funk and R&B, but following its own eclectic path, it is hooky while consciously holding surprises up its sleeve. Bravo to Paco and crew for not falling on convention in delivering the well written tune, but keeping an experimental edge that works.

Check out “Cold Love” below and welcome PACO to SoulTracks.
