We guess some things just run in the blood. It appears that way for Otis Redding III. The son of the legendary soul singer is himself an accomplished singer and songwriter, who has built a name for himself first as part of the group The Reddings and then as a solo artist.
Otis III shows his vocal chops on his new single, “Leaving Me.” He tells us about the song: “This song was truly inspired by stories of elders being in love saying these very words: If you gonna leave me, I’m going with ya. As I grew older and realized how sometimes we just don’t wanna let go, you just gotta tell that woman, I’m going with you if you leave.”
