May 14, 2018 – Those pesky Brits, they always seem to offer up another delightful variant of “blue-eyed soul,” don’t they? The list of notable British artists includes Stevie Winwood, Dusty Springfield, Mick Hucknall, Adele, and Sam Smith, among many others.
Last month, in our Another Groove series, we featured the latest entrant from across the pond, OMYO, featuring Tom McCorkell (lead vocals) and William Edward (music & backing vocals), who recently released their debut EP Introduction: Vol. II. The lads are back with the first visual from that album for “Never Let You Go,” a lovely ballad reminiscent of the early, soulful work of Tears for Fears. The striking video was shot in Thames Barrier and Battersea, London, and we’re happy they asked us to debut it for the world. We think it will be right in your sweet spot. Enjoy.
