First Listen: Ola Onabule tells a story in “Jankoriko”

olaonabule-peace

Ola Onabule is simply unmistakable. From his regal demeanor to that voice, an expressive baritone that bursts from the speakers on every release.

Last year we spotlighted the fantastic remix of his classic song, “Soul Town,” and just whetted our appetite for more Ola.  He will deliver with his 8th studio album, It’s The Peace That Deafens, coming on September 18. ”

Ola leads off the album with the timely “Jankoriko.” In it, aman pays the supreme price for stealing a loaf of bread – his life snuffed out by the outrage of the angry mob. The video for the song is equally intriguing. Check out “Jankoriko” below and get ready for more Ola Onabule!
