(April 18, 2023) On his new single “Show Me a Sign,” Nick Mundy puts into lyrics the feelings that many people have. Those lyrics detail the feelings of hopelessness that people often confront in times of adversity, and how they look for guidance in the form of signs from higher powers, nature, and science.
Mundy is a veteran songwriter, producer and guitarist who has lent is talents to many artists since he started working as a professional musician at the age of 13. In recent years, he’s focused on working as a lead singer.
“Show Me a Sign” is a song that finds Mundy fusing folk influences in his guitar playing with elements of pop music on a cut that has overarching spiritual theme. It is a reflective number that finds Mundy using his voice to take account of everything from environmental problems, the dangerous world that our children live in, to the personal stresses and demons that all people face.
