First Listen: N’Dambi returns after long absence with “Nowhere”

(April 13, 2018) It has been waaaay too long since we heard new music from N’Dambi. Nine years ago she won us over yet again with her stunning, Leon Sylvers-produced album, Pink Elephant, and we’ve been waiting and waiting for more. Then, this arrived this morning on her Facebook page:

“A journey ago, My boy Terrence Brown, front-man of the music collective All Cows Eat Grass and I decided we wanted to make some fly ass music, to collab and work through the colors of our minds to make something beautiful. I began to go through major shifts in my life and wanted to be some place I’d never been before. T. was already going up there, so I wanted to catch a ride. I had no idea how much hurt, isolation, and pain I would feel before we would get to finish these songs. Some time passed, we put the songs away and eventually came back to them. When we experienced them again, we both knew it was kismet and time to share them. Yes, I have been absent and it has been hard to talk about why I needed the quiet. However, I hope you all will accept this token of love as I could never have been brave enough to make if T. hadnt held my hand the whole way. Thanks T! So first up we would like to share ‘Nowhere’ with you now and our upcoming collab EP, Air Castle on May 4th on Alpha Pup Records. Thank you everyone for giving us this opportunity to share what we have been holding in our hearts.”

Check out “Nowhere,” below, and welcome back N’Dambi!
