(May 11, 2026) We’ve been tracking uber-talented Aussie soul singer Nardia for awhile now, and she keeps hitting the right spot with her music through a series of attractive singles. Many of those singles will be part of her upcoming album, Own Every Scar, and we simply can’t wait.
This week, Nardia arrives again on our pages with the new song, “Thinking.” Produced by Darin James, “Thinking” is a beautiful blending of the classic and the new, boasting an early 90s R&B vibe, but with a message of love, attraction and uncertainty that clearly resonates in 2026:
Hold all hope, and I take the chance
I hope one day that we can share that dance.
Be lost in your arms, lost in a trance
But I know it is dangerous to pursue.
Nardia has stated that she focuses her music on helping people “embrace their imperfections, overcome adversity, and find strength in their own stories,” and “Thinking” continues along those lines — a storyteller’s confession of all the conflicting emotions that hit us when love and attraction call. Plus, she simply sounds great, adding real conviction to the lyrical message.
