(December 30, 2025) “Hold On,” the latest single from Australian singer Nardia, is about naming and confronting the things that grieve and traumatize you. That’s the only way that healing can take place. However, when a person is deep in an individual crisis, they sometimes can’t see their way out. They need an intervention.
“Hold On” is a song about those who intervene when they see the pain, fear, and trauma that the person going through these struggles believe they mask behind smiles, stoicism, or in extreme cases soothe with substances.
“Hold On” is a mid-tempo cut that has a neo-soul vibe. Paired with her earlier release, the sultry and bluesy soul track “It It You,” “Hold On” shows the thematic and musical variety and depth of Nardia’s music. Check out “Hold On” and the accompanying artsy video that features contemporary dancer Izzy Lockett here.
