(May 18, 2023) Narada Michael Walden is a music legend who’s made music in multiple genres as a solo artist, band member, songwriter, and producer. He’s won multiple Grammy Awards and an Emmy Award. Walden is one of those artists that you listen to even when you don’t know that you are listening to him.
Walden returns to the music forefront by assuming his identity as a solo artist who creates instantly infectious tunes with “Baby Let’s Go.” The cut features propulsive, disco inspires bass line atmospheric sythns, a touch of rock inspired guitar and lyrics that call on a woman to relinquish her hesitation and take a chance on love.
“Baby Let’s Go” is a collaboration between Walden and Italian musician, producer, and guitarist Lino Nicolosi. Nicolosi belonged to the band Novecento that was one of the most popular bands in Italy for more than 20 years. The band’s sound encompassed disco, pop, funk, jazz and rock, and those influences can be heard in “Baby Let’s Go.” Check it out here.
