First Listen: Lizz Wright colors “Painted Sky (Don’t Give Up On Us)”

In celebration of the National Day of Racial Healing held on January 17^th, the ethereal Lizz Wright co-wrote and recorded a new song “Painted Sky (Don’t Give Up On Us).” 

Featuring Ted and Angela Jenifer on supporting vocals, Wright delivers a powerful, poetic and unifying performance with her signature, smokey alto firing on all cylinders.  Enjoy.
