(September 14, 2016) Well, we kinda feel like proud parents whose daughter has graduated from college. A couple years ago, we introduced SoulTrackers to singer and songwriter Lindsey Webster. The talented songstress immediately showed a way with a tune, delivering an album of cuts that beautifully skirted the edges of soul, jazz and pop, and a musical presence that made her an heir to performers ranging from Sade to Basia.
We weren’t the only ones who fell for Lindsey. Her song “Fool Me Once” sat atop the Smooth Jazz singles chart for a month (the first vocal song to hit #1 in a half decade), and she turned heads around the world.
Lindsey has now signed with the always on point Shanachie label and will be issuing her sophomore album, Back To Your Heart, on November 4. We can’t wait! But in the meantime, we have a sneak peek with the first single from that album, the groovalicious midtempo title track.
