(April 9, 2018) SoulTrackers may not know the name of New Jersey singer Lenny Harold, but they’ve probably enjoyed his music. Some likely saw him during his winning tenure on Showtime at The Apollo (under old moniker Chanj) or maybe caught him during his time as a latter day member of Teddy Riley’s legendary group Blackstreet.
But Lenny is now a solo artist again, and he’s developed his own attractive style of R&B. His newest single, “Heat,” is a falsetto-driven romp that will really hit fans of 90s funk and soul. And he sounds just great.
