(August 4, 2017) A couple months ago, we were not all there for Ledisi’s trap soul-lite single, “High,” and our readers were just as divided. But the song found an audience over time, and began to get folks talking about Led’s highly-anticipated upcoming album, Let Love Live.
We’re feeling the second single from the project a lot more. “Add To Me” is beat-filled midtempo number with a happy call-and-response and a straight up question asked to a potential beau: “How you gonna add to me?”
Ledisi sounds as great as ever on the single, and gives some sassiness that makes the fun cut even better. We’re officially back on board the Ledisi train with “Add To Me,” and waiting for more.
