(June 13, 2016) Dallas-based singer, songwriter and musician Latoya Songstress Cooper has developed her own musical style, a smooth, soulful blend of Neo-soul, Jazz and Latin influences. And her lyrical take on her songs is all her own, too
She tells us, “My music reflects my determination to live with true purpose and without regrets.”
Her determination showed as she held on to her love for music, even as she earned both an undergrad and graduate business degree. “When a God-given gift is also a deep-seeded passion (singing, in my case,) it’s nearly impossible to silence it, so it’s wise to simply welcome and embrace it.”
