(July 5, 2016) Kool & The Gang has been one of the great R&B bands of the past half century, and they still bring it whenever they perform live or on record (click here to read our biography of the group). The group, consisting of founding members Khalis Bayyan (AKA Ronald Bell), Robert “Kool” Bell, Dennis Thomas and George Brown, continues to tour the world. We last heard them on their 2013 holiday album, but now they’re back with new music!
“Sexy (Where’d You Get Yours)” is a fun and funk cut filled with punchy horns and a steady beat that should get SoulTrackers moving. It’s just what we needed to hear coming out of a 4th of July weekend, and we are proud to present its World Premiere!
