When you hear singer Kira Small, your first reaction may be “how did that big voice come from her”? But the Nashville-based performer has the chops to deliver the kind of bluesy soul that permeates her new project 3AM.
The album captures the oscillating emotions that follow the nonconsensual break-up of two lovers, and it all rings true. We first heard Kira on the song that is the subject of her newest video, “Fire Starter.” She kicks down the door of sadness for the break-up with a confident number on which she faces the truth of the relationship and gets ready to move on.
