(March 12, 2026) From “Let It Whip” to “Joystick” the Kinsman Dazz Band always had a penchant for making music that got folks on the dance floor. It can be said that their latest single, “Soul Jam,” is a recognition and celebration of the memories that they helped their fans make at skating rinks, night clubs, family reunions or driving in a car.
“Soul Jam” is a funky steppers jam that could be describing the scene at a picnic or family reunion. The song describes that moment when the DJ plays the one song that’s recognized as the jam regardless of age group. Heads bop, toes tap, hips sway, people sing and dance.
Summer is still a little bit more than three months away, but the Kinsman Dazz Band (with Heidi Tann providing some vocal assistance) has people in a cookout state of mind with this one. Check out their latest summertime party anthem, “Soul Jam” here.
