It’s been a minute since we’ve heard new music from Kenny Lattimore, and we’ve been waiting for his long-delayed album to come out — ever since he teased us with the excellent “Back 2 Cool” a couple years ago. Well, Kenny has announced that he will be issuing a new album on April 14 Anatomy of A Love Song, and he’s come out of the box with a new single that should get his fans going.
“Love Me Back” is a solid midtempo song that begins with a solo drum and piano, building into the plea from a guy to his girl, proclaiming his love and asking her to let it go and, well, love him back. While not breathtaking, it is a solid first single from the new project, and is enough to get us wanting more.
