(March 2, 2020) Kemi Sulola was raised in East London, and she grew up hearing the sounds of R&B, hip-hop, reggae and jazz, all of which she has incorporated into her own brand of musical writing and performing.
Kemi brings her influences into her gentle new single, “Raindrops,” a song that compares the stresses of ordinary life to walking in a cold rain. The associated video puts a stark black and white visual to the song, capturing its essence nicely.
