(February 19, 2018) We don’t run into many singers who also have a Ph.D., but that is the case with Los Angeles-based R&B singer-songwriter, Kelvin Frazier. The Georgia native sang at Carnegie Hall as a young man, but took a detour on his musical path by pursuing his doctorate at MIT.
But Kevin never forgot his passion of music. Upon graduating from MIT with a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry, he was invited to perform a solo act at the world famous Amateur Night at the Apollo in New York City.
In May 2016, Kelvin moved to Los Angeles to pursue his music career. He’s been making an impact ever since, and now is charting with a dramatic new single called “Marked and Scarred.” It is a strong follow up to his hit “Conquer All” and another song that should expand the audience of this talented singer.
