Cleveland Jones was voted New Artist of the Year a couple years ago by SoulTrackers, and the immensely talented young singer has been staying busy ever since. And if you were looking for a dream collaboration for Cleveland, it would probably be Dee Majek, aka Kejam, the musical Renaissance Man who has worked with scores of great stars over the past four decades.
Kejam is readying a new EP called On Track, and he features Mr. Jones on an infectious adult soul single that is my newest earworm. A classy arrangement and hooky composition fronted by the unmistakable tenor of Cleveland Jones. Kejam describes is as “harkening back to the days where UK and American soul music use to connect with its audience. ‘My Love’ brings classic and timeless rnb / soul music with a modern day twist, which awakens the soul and evokes emotional healing.”
