Detroit based singer Katrina Carson says her earliest memories involved performance. Standing in front of a mirror and singing and dancing. The singer who says that her style encompasses both contemporary R&B and pop as well as classic R&B and soul has always felt comfortable on stage. Carson says that inspiration for her songs often comes from life experiences and the ups and downs of relationships.
“Nowhere,” a mid-tempo contemporary R&B number and the accompanying video tell the familiar story of two lovers having a disagreement that can lead one of them walking out of the door. The only question is whether they own up to the reality that they really don’t want to be apart before one of them says or does something that makes bridge crossing more difficult than it has to be. Carson is all for working through the disagreement together. Check the song “Nowhere” and video out here.
