(August 16, 2022) Bob Baldwin is an artist who has made the ultimate commitment to his craft and the music industry. His goal every year is to release at least one album with twelve songs on each project. To take on such a significant task could be intimidating and to see it through can be challenging, when trying to stay motivated. For Baldwin, he has remained energized and invigorated throughout the years, dropping live, studio and in home recordings to keep things fresh.
For his forthcoming release entitled B Postive he has enlisted the help of jazz soul artist Kathy Kosins on the single, “Let’s Rewind.” Co-written by Baldwin and Kosins, “Let’s Rewind” is a melodic midtempo cut that deals with taking time to enjoy all of the great things in life and in relationship. Kosins controls the vocal as she sings and sways the importance to “don’t rush, time is in our hands, we’ve waited patiently.” Baldwin complements her by delivering a lovely piano solo that is placed perfectly in the song’s evolution.
Set for a September release, B Positive will certainly keep fans satisfied with their annual Bob Baldwin fix, and this collaboration between Baldwin and Kosins will continue the successful streaks that both artists have enjoyed in recent years.
