First Listen: Joy Conaway fights the “Monsters”
We’ve recently come upon talented singer and songwriter Joy Conaway. The Atlanta-based singer brings elements of both pop and soul together into a beautiful mix that highlights her plaintive vocals and acoustic arrangements.
Joy’s debut EP, A Tale of Joy and Sorrow was written and produced by The Gigabots (Douglas Whatley & Prem Midha), is now available as a FREE download. Joy tells us: “A Tale of Joy & Sorrow is a journey of love, fear, hope and light. I love creating stories through the music I sing, and I believe that there is a story in each song for all of us! I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be working the Gigabots (production duo, Douglas Whatley & Prem Midha. It’s been a little over a year since we started working together, and it’s been nothing but music, magic and laughter. For my debut EP, you can expect to experience songs from the heart- honest lyrics over sweet and addictive sounds. Thank you to all of my supporters who are helping make my dreams a reality.
