(July 10, 2021) We’ve been following the Godfather of Scandinavian Soul, Jonas, for the better part of two decades, and all those years allowed us to reach a couple conclusions: first, Jonas is fearless in gliding between genres to make the music he is feeling at the time; and second, he seems to make each song – regardless of the style – an absolute earworm.
Those characteristics are in full display on Jonas’ newest single, “All Systems Go,” a playlist-worthy dance track featuring UK singer Sharlene Hector and Denmark based rapper Kuku Agami. The song has elements of world, pop and hip-hop, but in the end is a more-than-worthy danceable R&B jam that should find a warm spot with SoulTrackers.
