(November 30, 2016) He’s the music director on Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show, and he is a killer musician and bandleader. He is Jon Batiste, the pride of Kenner, Louisiana.
The talented Mr. Batiste has a new Christmas album out, and one of our favorite current singers, Aloe Blacc, joins him for the first single from the album, the beautiful, soulful ballad, “Endless Love.” The song tells the story of a man’s memory of a childhood Christmas, and how he has brought forward those memories to guide his life…and this holiest of seasons.
