(August 16, 2019) Johnny Gill has had a nice career resurgence over the past few years, consistently hitting the adult soul charts with hit after hit, and topping them with his mini-New Edition reunion “This One’s For Me And You,” from his smash Game Changer album.
Johnny will be returning soon with a new album, and already has a hit with the first single, “Soul of a Woman.” Now he returns on a duet with former New Edition mate, and his recent touring partner, Ralph Tresvant. “Perfect” is a tribute to a woman who may not believe that she is desirable as her man does. “Your heart, your soul, your mind. You are perfect to me.” It’s the kind of message that anyone would want to hear from their mate.
