(May 25, 2020) We’ve been big fans of singer and trumpeter Johnny Britt since the days when he was one-half of the creative duo Impromp2, and we’ve been following him ever since. Johnny has played with a who’s who of artists and has written hits for the likes of Boney James, The Temptations and more.
Johnny made some waves a few years ago with the hit album Marvin Meets Miles album, and he has been staying busy as usual, touring and recording.
Now, with the COVID-19 pandemic upon us, Johnny has written a striking new ballad that pleads for humanity to keep going even in a difficult time. “Hold On” was just released and gives a message of hope and encouragement, and Johnny sound absolutely convincining on it.
He tells us: As a musician I felt that it was my duty to write a song for these times of uncertainty. I would like to dedicate this song to the victims, frontline workers from around the world have suffered from Covid 19. This is an inspired song of hope that I wrote called HOLD ON.”
