Grammy winners Tye Tribbett, LeAndria Johnson and Jason Nelson are all singing the praises of one of gospel music’s hottest new artists – Joe Douglass & Spirit of Praise.
Nominated for eight 2015 Rhythm Of Gospel Awards, including Best New Artist and CD of the Year, Joe Douglass & Spirit of Praise is an unique 15-voice ensemble whose youthful blend of musical styles has the gospel industry buzzing. The group was formed by 24 year old singer-songwriter Joe Douglass and co-founder David Jackson, music director for Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson.
They’re leading off with the the hot new single “The Great I Am” and will be issuing their JDI Records/Sony Distribution debut album in late October, which has become one of the most anticipated Gospel albums of the year.
