(September 12, 2019) Jeffrey Dennis has lived quite a story. The Senior Pastor of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Akron, Ohio has worked tirelessly to raise his community – and has been honored by two US Presidents for his work.
Here at SoulTracks, we know him as an extremely talented musician who has captured our ears for his soulful music that speaks to urban adult contemporary music fans in a way that few artists can. We loved his last album, Conversations, and are excited that he is returning with an equally enticing new one, Lovin On You.
For our latest SoulTracks First Listen, we’re featuring the title track from that new album. “Lovin On You ” is a song about relationships that are full of passion, pursuit and pleasure. The song captures the intimate thoughts and passion of the writer as he expresses his sincere enjoyment of spending time with the one he loves.
