(May 19, 2026) Earlier this year, Canadian singer (and SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Award nominee) JC Sol revamped Sylvia Robinson’s ‘70’s Quiet Storm classic “Pillow Talk” with a contemporary makeover that grabbed our attention. She’s now turning up the tempo on a new saucy track that’s solely focuses on burning up the dance floor.
With pouncing rhythms, funky beats, splashy horns stacked atop a steady flow of groovy bass, “Show Me” is a flirty slice of funk draped in JC Sol’s achy blue-eyed soul pipes, bearing resemblance to Teena Marie and Joss Stone. With a confident strut, she sings “If there’s a line, I’ll cross it / Pull me back in,” which sums up the love jones she’s dealing with on the robust track penned and produced by Baltimore-raised JTreece.
Check out the new track and let us know your thoughts.
