(February 18, 2025) Jazzanova released their debut album, In Between, 20 years ago. The Berlin-based band will celebrate that release by dropping the live album In Between Revisited: Jazzanova Live on May 9, 2025, and in a sneak peek the band treats us with a live version of their beloved single “No Use.”

This live version features vocalist Clara Hill, who sang on the 2005 original. The live version, which was recorded last year at the Little Big Beat Studios in Liechtenstein, finds Hill backed by a fine group of musicians that includes Sebastian Borkowski on saxophone and flute, Stefan Ulrich on trombone, Christoph Bernewitz on guitar, Florian Menzel on trumpet, Christoph Adams on vocals and keyboards and Paul Kleber on bass. Performing “No Use” In a live session allows each of these musicians to magnify the R&B and jazz elements of “No Use.”

We hear the horn section, and the keyboards add elements of jazz improvisation in between R&B-influenced guitar riffs and the bass that provides the foundation for it all. We’re proud to present the World Premiere of the live version of Jazzaova’s “No Use.” Check it out below.
