Since his Ghetto Love album in 2001, Jaheim has consistently brought great music to adult soul fans. Alternatingly sensitive and tough, his music has often been tough to describe but easy to like.
We reported in February that Jaheim had signed with the up-and-coming R&B label Primary Wave Music. And he’s now released his first single from his label debut. “Back In My Arms” is a soulful ballad that his Jaheim’s unmistakeable voice up front. It’s about a man who has hit a rough patch with his woman, but wants to let her know she’s “still my #1.” And the sax solo just makes the song that much more emotional.
