(November 28, 2019) For three years now, we’ve been follow the soulful singing, Columbus, Ohio brothers Woody & Minquel Ingram, aka Ingram Street. Ohioans have such a rich history of soul and funk, that you’d better bring it to make it there, and the Ingrams have certainly kept their game high.
They gathered more fans around the world with their debut album Escapism, and now they’re preparing their much awaited follow up disc, Paint The Town, which is due in early 2020.
To lead off the new album, the Ingram brothers have issued a new single with a classic falsetto soul vibe. And that vibe comes naturally, as the song was co-written by Temptations singer Ron Tyson and legendary soul music producer Preston Glass, who also produced the single.
The brothers sound better than ever, and deliver the kind of soulful ballad that would have fit right in alongside 70s Philly smashes by the Stylistics and Blue Magic.
