(October 17, 2025) The band Incognito’s sound remains consistent and recognizable even though the lineup constantly evolves. The band founded by Jean Paul “Bluey” Maunick doesn’t chase trends. Instead, Incognito adheres to a belief that there is an audience for great musicianship, strong vocals and uplifting, danceable songs. That principled stand explains why Incognito maintains a loyal following that is international in scope.
Incognito returns with a new song titled “It’s About Time.” The tune features Joy Rose, one of the many great vocalists who have enlivened Incognito songs since the band emerged in the early 1980s. “It’s About Time” encourages listeners to remain present and positive through the struggles because your victory and breakthrough are soon to come. That message comes through whether you listen to the mid-tempo R&B version or the energetically propulsive and percussive dance remix by Richard Bull.
