(March 18, 2026) Whether you have just perfected a bio for a dating app, cuddled up binge-watching reruns with your boo or, well, just over it all, it’s not hard to forget the dizzying process of finding love. That first glance, greeting and grin can send you over the moon or leave you too nervous to breathe, which is what Los Angeles-based performer Honore is singing about in latest single “L.O.V.E.”
On this nimble, percolating up tempo jam that combines a 90s vibe with modern flair, Honore’s influences range from Tems to Miguel to the Purple One himself: love isn’t exactly a battlefield but the ride is bumpy with a lot of twists, turns and uh, a queasy stomach (?). But that doesn’t make the groove any easier to resist.
The Sun is out, the clock has sprung forward (for most of us) and for those considering themselves ‘available,’ “L.O.V.E.” can glide smoothly into the playlist if it’s not already in the air. For those who are optimistic, this single will keep you energized as you swipe left. And for those who are, well, less than amused, at least Honore’s cleverly-crafted verses will demonstrate why you stopped dating in the first place.
