First Listen: Heston gives acoustic shine to “Dear God”

heston-deargod

(March 27, 2016) SoulTrackers who attended our 2008 SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Awards will, no doubt, remember the stirring performance that night by Heston Francis. He’s been a SoulTracks favorite for nearly a decade, and an artist whose acoustic brand of soul has made us always look forward to each release.

On his newest single, Heston adds a bit of an island feel to his acoustic guitar. “Dear God” features Heston’s always on point vocals, a soulful saxophone and background female vocalists. It comes together to create a great song of prayer and praise — just in time for Easter.

Check out “Dear God” below and welcome back this talented singer and musician.
