In 2021, singer and songwriter H.E.R. was on an amazing run, no question. She was ubiquitous — in a good way. From the Super Bowl to the Grammys to the Oscars, she was everywhere, delivering her thoughtful, generation-spanning brand of music.

What was a contribution to an inspirational football movie was transformed into a song of praise for God, with Wells as the ideal singing partner. The tune was both immediately recognizable and entirely new through its metamorphosis.
