(March 30, 2018) – They’ve been consistent road warriors every Summer, touring the US and the world, but they haven’t recorded new music together in 15 years. So it is a big deal that, ahead of their co-headline North American summer tour with Train, Daryl Hall & John Oates have issued a brand new single (with Train). It is yet another homage to their hometown of Philadelphia, and is called“Philly Forget Me Not.”

With a “rock ‘n soul” vibe somewhat reminiscent of their 80s and 90s work, the song features Hall and Train frontman Pat Monahan trading lead vocals, and is about the musings of a Philly expatriate remembering and cherishing the City of Brotherly Love. “This song pretty much describes my feeling about Philly, my music home,” says Daryl Hall. Adds Monahan, “Train have all been Hall & Oates fans since we can remember so being on a record with them is a life long dream! We couldn’t be more excited – listening to them and playing along side them on tour each night is going to be incredible.”

Be on the lookout for their Summer tour in your town. In the meantime, welcome back Hall & Oates
