Motown vet Michael B. Sutton and Funk Therapy take us “All the Way”

(November 14, 2024) Motown veteran Michael B. Sutton has worked over the years with legends from Stevie Wonder to Michael Jackson, and he has used those years of experience to continue to bring joy to listeners well into the 21st Century.

Earlier this year, Sutton and his group Funk Therapy got listeners dancing with the fun single “Old School Party,” and they now return with a new release that has more of a classic soul vibe. “All The Way” is a lush midtempo with layered backing vocals and a steady steppers groove. And its message of “never giving in” when the road gets tough is one that everyone can relate to.

It’s great hearing Sutton actively recording again, and “All The Way” is the kind of single that we expect classic soulheads to grab onto. Check it out below.
