(April 8, 2024) For the past few years we’ve been following the steady ascent of Wilmington, Delaware singer and songwriter Fred Reed. Reed has been creating new music with a keen sense of history, as elements of classic soul are beautifully weaved through the sheen of his contemporary R&B.
For his newest song, Reed teams with another artist known for his appreciation of his musical ancestors. Raheem DeVaughnis joins Reed to deliver a good old fashioned love song – a tribute called “Found You” that lyrically challenges a sometimes cynical 21st century worldview:
“Who says that love don’t exist no more. I know I found the one that I adore.”
