(July 24, 2026) Washington DC native Felece Tillman has been on a natural high since dropping her acclaimed debut EP, 2024’s Soulful Tales. She’s been wowing audiences around the world through the power of independent radio and gaining fans with her thrilling live performances on stages like DC’s Blues Alley and A die Musik Live in Baltimore.
Now living abroad in Panama City, the gifted indie vocalist is spreading her wings of love and optimism with her latest musical offering, “Neva.” That’s right. She’s saying never, but with fierce diva attitude.
Inside she attacks the silky soul cut with an Anita Baker-Rachelle Ferrell precision, anchored by punctuated adlibs and melodic riffs while showing off her incredible four-octave range.
Produced by DaMone Arnold (Miki Howard, Jamie Foxx, Gerald Albright), the track delightfully embraces the strengths of a tight crack band, executing Rhodes action, hefty percussion and a sweeping flute solo. And inside the excellent smooth jazz offering are abundant messages of self-love, resilience and empowerment. “I wrote this song for women of a certain age who feel like love and their dreams have passed them by, stay open to the sweet unknown and neva say neva. Not that it will be easy, but what in life is?,” Tillman says.
