(May 7, 2019) Better known as one-half of soul duo Myron & E, or as founder of the boogie band The Pendeltons, Newark native Eric ‘E’ Cooke aka Eric Boss got his start in music as a teenage DJ, and ultimately developed into a singer, songwriter and producer with a sense of classic soul sound – one developed through his various travels in Europe, where he found other soulheads who became like a new musical family to him.
Eric is now issuing a new album called Modern Love that is getting some love from soul music fans around the world. And one of the cuts from the upcoming album that we’re digging is his classic soul midtempo, “Is It Love,” a retro jam on which Eric talks about the wonders of his love.
