First Listen: Elliott Yamin’s sings about “3 Words”

Elliott Yamin won over a lot of pop and soul fans during his stint on American Idol a few years ago, and he showed he was the real thing with a solid debut album. Now, four years and two discs later, he has signed with Purpose Music, the home of many of our favorite independent soul artists such as Angela Johnson, Monet, Kindred and Anthony David, and is readying the release of his latest disc.

Elliott’s new single is, “3 Words,” and it’s another solid pop/soul effort. The video has been gathering some strong opinions and we thought we’d give SoulTrackers the first chance to see it and a First Listen of “3 Words.”
