(January 4, 2018) Canadian R&B duo dvsn (pronounced “division”) broke out in 2015 with the single “With Me,” and they’ve been quietly gaining steam since then. Consisting of Daniel Daley and Nineteen85, dvsn has garnered over 100 million streams on Spotify, all while staying somewhat under the radar to many fans.
That will continue to change with the new single, “Mood,” which is now racing up the Urban Adult Contemporary charts. A cool falsetto vocal, a funky midtempo beat and sparse instrumentation lead to a great experience for listeners, with elements of Prince abounding. We’re completely digging it.
