First Listen: Donna Summer an “Angel” on final recording with O’Mega Red

Donna Summer spent the better part of four decades as one of the queens of popular music.  And before her sad death earlier this year, Donna was involved in a recording with her nephew, Boston artist O’Mega Red, on his latest single, Angel from his album The Red October. 

“Angel” was the only recording Ms. Summer worked on with a Hip-Hop artist and is reportedly her last recording before her death. It is also a rather poignant final performance, with her singing about being an Angel. Her singing becomes most powerful and recognizable in the last 20 seconds of the song.
