(August 19, 2019) It’s tough to believe it has been five years since we first introduced SoulTrackers to talented singer, songwriter and actress Dominique Toney, who wowed us with her debut single, “Loving You’s So Easy.” That she seems to be able to do it all is no surprise, as she comes from musical royalty – her father, Kevin Toney, was a founding member of the groundbreaking, oft-sampled funk-jazz fusion outfit, The Blackbyrds.
Since then, Dominique has toured the country performing, while also keeping a very active acting schedule. But after a prolonged absence from the studio, she is now back with a brand new single. “Maze” is a loping midtempo co-produced by Kevin, and bearing a classic R&B groove.
